The Bread of Life

The Bread of Life…

Good morning!  Today, let’s explore the deep satisfaction found in Jesus, the Bread of Life.

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
John 6:35

Have you ever stood in front of a fridge full of food yet felt like nothing could satisfy your hunger? Life without Jesus can feel like that—surrounded by options, yet nothing truly fills us. In John 6:35, Jesus offers something more than temporary satisfaction. He calls Himself the bread of life, the only source of nourishment that satisfies the deepest longings of our hearts.

Jesus isn’t offering a quick fix or a temporary meal. He’s inviting us into a relationship where our souls find lasting fulfillment. In Him, we find peace that doesn’t waver with circumstances, joy that endures, and a love that never runs dry.

Coming to Jesus isn’t just a one-time moment; it’s an ongoing journey. Each day, He invites us to bring our doubts, our struggles, and our joys and find that He is more than enough. Today, whatever is leaving you feeling empty, remember: Jesus is the bread of life. He’s offering not just sustenance but a feast of grace that will never run out.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being the Bread of Life, the one who satisfies the deepest longings of my heart. When I feel empty or lost, remind me to come to You for true nourishment and peace. Fill my soul with Your presence, calming my restless spirit and quenching my thirst for meaning. Lead me daily to Your table of grace, where my doubts and fears are met with Your love and strength. Thank You for being more than enough for me, always offering what I need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We often settle for fleeting pleasures, distracted by worldly desires and superficial pursuits, when in reality, we are invited to experience boundless joy and fulfillment.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

The Mystery of The End

3 Jan

The Mystery of The End…

There is a mystery in the sacred Hebrew year. The Feast of Trumpets is the season of repentance. Teshuvah is Hebrew for repentance or return. For two thousand years, the Jewish people wandered the earth away from Jesus.

But the great mystery is that God has set up the age as a Hebrew year. The Feast of Trumpets starts the civil New Year, but on the sacred calendar, it represents the end of the year, not the beginning.

Thus, the season of repentance comes at the end. This signifies that the time of Jewish repentance and their return to Jesus will happen at the end of the age. The Hebrew year waits for the Jewish people to repent in order to conclude.

So the entire age waits for Israel’s return to Jesus to conclude. Never stop praying for Israel’s Teshuvah. For the appointed time will surely come.

The same goes for your life. God’s promises are good, and they will come in their appointed times. And when they do, you will know they were more than worth the wait.

Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God, for you have fallen by your iniquity.  Hosea 14:1

Today, pray for Israel to return to Jesus and give thanks for the faithfulness of God to keep His Word.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

Boundless Strength

Boundless Strength…

Today, let’s immerse ourselves in the promise of Philippians 4:13, a verse that reminds us of the boundless strength Christ offers. May this truth bolster your spirit for whatever the day holds.

I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.
Philippians 4:13

Philippians 4:13 isn’t a casual phrase; it’s a roar of faith echoing from a prison cell. Paul, the author, wasn’t boasting about an easy life. He was declaring a truth discovered in the depths of hardship: his strength flowed from Christ dwelling within him.

This transformative truth is ours too. When anxieties gnaw at our souls, when burdens threaten to crush us, this verse beckons. It invites us to surrender our self-reliance and embrace the boundless strength of Christ.

It’s not about gritting our teeth, but about acknowledging our limitations and allowing His power to course through us. This doesn’t erase challenges, but it shifts how we face them, replacing fear with unwavering faith and weakness with His might.

In Christ, we are more than conquerors – not due to our own abilities, but because of His victory won for us. So let us face today with confidence, stepping boldly into challenges, assured that the God of the impossible empowers our every step.

Dear Lord, as I confront the challenges of today, fill me with the strength that comes from You alone. Remind me that I do not face these trials by myself but with Your power within me. Help me to rely on Your strength, not my own, transforming my worries into confidence and my fears into faith. Guide me through each moment, and let Your peace reign in my heart. Thank You for making me more than a conqueror through Your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

God does not begin by asking us about our ability, but only about our availability, and if we then prove our dependability, he will increase our capability.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Children of Wrath

Children of Wrath…

The famous atheist Madalyn Murray O’Hair, while speaking at Baldwin Wallis University in Berea, Ohio, denigrated all clergy and ministers, ridiculed believers, mocked those who trusted in prayer, and labeled all people of faith as ‘stupid.’

At the end of the meeting, a young lady spoke up. With a soft, compassionate voice, she said, “Ms. O’Hair, I am so happy you came to speak to all of us tonight. We thank you for showing all of us what an atheist is.

Now, in turn, we must ever be grateful for your visit because now and forever we have been strengthened in our Christian beliefs by listening to you tonight. We really feel sorry for you and will pray for you. I thank you because I know you have strengthened my faith…”

Ms. O’Hair seemed at a loss for words. Atheism might testify against God but atheists only testify to Him. They show us that without God, there’s no real hope, assurance, comfort, trust, purpose, meaning and love.

So, how much more than that must you who affirm God, all the more boldly bear Him witness. Let your light shine and be bold. God lives, and even atheists bear Him witness.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  Galatians 5:22

Today, boldly bear witness that God is and who He is in your life.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

In Me You Have Peace

In Me You Have Peace…

Good morning,

Today, let’s carry the promise of Christ’s peace – the peace that endures all storms – into our interactions with the world.

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.  John 16:33

In a world fractured by conflict, our human attempts at peace feel like sandcastles against an endless tide. We negotiate, we reconcile, yet new disputes emerge like waves on the shore. But there is another path, a deeper peace promised by Jesus in John 16:33: “In me you…have peace.” It’s a peace that defies human logic, enduring even when the world rages around us.

Jesus doesn’t guarantee a life free of storms, acknowledging that troubles are an inevitable part of this fallen world. “But take heart!” He proclaims, “I have overcome the world.”

When our own efforts to build peace crumble, let’s remember the One who holds the blueprint for true reconciliation, mending hearts through His selfless sacrifice. He has paved the way for peace – within ourselves, with others, and a deep, eternal peace with God.

So, when turmoil swirls and disagreements threaten to overwhelm, let’s anchor ourselves in the Prince of Peace. His is the steady foundation in a world of shifting sands, offering peace unshaken by any storm and a promise of ultimate victory. In Him, we have peace that no circumstance can shake

Dear Lord, in a world torn by conflict, I confess that my own efforts to create peace often feel futile. Help me cling to the deeper peace You offer – a peace that transcends my understanding. When storms rage around me, let me anchor myself in You, the Prince of Peace. Remind me that You have overcome the world. Grant me strength to persevere, a heart shaped by Your love, and faith in the promise of ultimate victory in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God is always doing 10,000 things in your life, and you may be aware of three of them.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

Ed 🙏🏼

An Abundant Year

An Abundant  Year…

I believe this is going to be a year where God exceeds your expectations. He’s not going to do just what you’re asking for; He’s going to exceed it. He’s going to open doors you never dreamed would open. He’s going to take you further than you’ve imagined.

You’re going to look back and say, “I never dreamed I would be this blessed. I never dreamed I would get this position. I never dreamed I would overcome this addiction. I never dreamed I would feel this healthy.”

Get ready. This is a new year, and God is doing a new thing. He’s about to exceed your expectations. He’s about to do things that you’ve never imagined. He’s going to make things happen that you couldn’t make happen.

One touch of His favor will catapult you where you could not go on your own. God is releasing healing, favor, opportunities, breakthroughs, promotion, and freedom.

You didn’t have to work for it, you didn’t earn it, and you didn’t deserve it. It’s just the goodness of God, showing His favor on your life.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Ephesians 3:20

Father, thank You that You think extraordinary, You think abundance, and You think freedom. Help me to expect that You will exceed my expectations in this coming year. I believe and declare that You are doing exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

The Threshold – 2025

31 Dec

The Threshold – 2025…

Good morning! As we stand on the threshold of a new year, let’s embrace the hope that comes from knowing God’s mercies are new every morning. Happy New Year to you and your loved ones!

Because of the Lord’s great love, we’re are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.   Lamentations 3:22-23

This New Year’s Day finds us all in different places. Some are holding onto precious memories of answered prayers, while others are quietly wiping away tears. Some just dont care. Some are celebrating breakthroughs, while others are still waiting, hoping, trusting. But here’s what makes this moment more than just another turn of the calendar: God’s faithfulness doesn’t end with December.

Think of every morning this past year—through the victories and valleys, the laughter and losses—His love remained steady. When your faith was strong, He was faithful. When your faith faltered, He was faithful still. Not once did His mercy run dry. Not once did His grace need rationing.

And tomorrow? His compassion awaits as fresh as the sunrise—not recycled grace or leftover love, but new mercies perfectly chosen for each moment you’ll face. This isn’t about starting over; it’s about stepping forward with a God whose faithfulness never ends.

Dear Father, As the curtain opens on this new year, I bring You all that’s in my heart—the joy, the sorrow, the gratitude, the regrets. Thank You for being with me through it all. Your faithfulness has been my constant, and Your mercies are new every morning. As I look ahead, help me to let go of the past and to trust in Your promises. Fill me with courage and peace, Lord, and guide me to walk through this new year hand-in-hand with You, reflecting Your love in all I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and knows the One who is leading.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

If You Hear – Today

31 Dec

If You Hear – Today…

There’s a story in the rabbinic writings about the coming of Jesus. A man comes to the Prophet Elijah and asks, “Where can I find Jesus?” Elijah answers, “You’ll find Him at the city gates with the sick, the lepers, and the lame healing them.”

The man runs off but then later returns. “Did you find the Jesus?” Elijah asks. “Yes,” says the man. “But he lied to me. I asked Jesus, “When are You going to come and save Your people, bring redemption, and set up Your Kingdom of peace and everlasting righteousness?”

He told me, “Today!” Elijah looked at the man and said, “He spoke the truth! As it is written, today, if you hear.” These are the same words quoted in the Book of Hebrews regarding Jesus and you.

So, when will Jesus come and bring peace in your life? When will you find His joy, know victory, and overcome? Today, if you hear. Jesus comes today for those who hear.

So receive the good news by faith and the joy, peace, and abundant life will come. But it all begins… today, if you hear.

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.  Revelation 3:20

Today, truly listen and truly hear what the Word of God has for your life.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

The Power of The Tongue

30 Dec

The Power of The Tongue…

Good morning! Today, let’s explore the incredible power of our words and how they can shape our lives and the lives of those around us.

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Proverbs 18:21

Grandfather used to tell me – be sure to engage your brain before you let loose with your tongue. We sometimes say, “They’re just words,” as if they’re weightless, harmless things. But think about words that have shaped your own story: that encouragement that kept you going, that criticism that still stings, that “I love you” that changed everything. Our words carry weight—to build up or tear down to bring life or death.

This isn’t just about speaking positively. It’s about understanding that every word we speak plants something in someone’s heart—including our own. When we speak hope into despair, peace into chaos, and love into loneliness, we’re not just making noise. We’re creating spaces where God’s grace can grow.

Think of Jesus—how He spoke life into death, worth into shame, hope into despair. Our words might not raise the dead, but they can revive a broken spirit, restore a shattered confidence, and rekindle a fading faith. Every conversation is an opportunity to be His voice in someone’s story.

Today, choose words that bring life. Someone in your world might need them more than you know.

Dear Heavenly Father, I confess that my words often fall short. Sometimes, they wound instead of healing and discourage instead of uplift. Forgive me. You’ve shown me that my tongue holds the power of life and death, and today, I lay that power at Your feet. Fill me with Your Spirit, Lord. Transform my speech. Make my words a reflection of Your heart—full of grace, seasoned with truth, overflowing with love. Help me to speak life into a world that desperately needs it. Help me to be more like You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

Of All Things

30 Dec

Of All Things…

Hebrews says that God is the builder of everything. In other words, when you see leaves, butterflies, or flowers, they have a builder. The most complex HDTV can not compare to the complexity of the human eye.

The most complex stereo system can not compare to the complexity of the human ear. All the electrical systems known to man can not compare to the complexity of one human cell. The most complex computer ever devised by human intelligence can not compare to the complexity of the human brain.

So why would anybody believe that these things came about by accident? Would you believe a TV came about with no builder? Would an atheist believe it? Of course not.

So which is more ridiculous? The fact is that God is the builder of everything. So be strong in that and rejoice in the fact that He also built you. He gave His life for you, and He’s now building your life into something good and precious.

So let Him build you. And be built up, because God is The Builder of everything. How much more so your life?

Every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.  Hebrews 3:4

Today, take time to appreciate all the wonderful things of God’s creation.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

Ed 🙏🏼
