The Pigs Jewelry

31 Mar

The Pigs Jewelry…

Proverbs 11:22 says, “As a ring of gold in a pig’s nose, so is a beautiful woman who lacks discretion.” The truth of this scripture applies to everyone.

Your life is as a gold ring, it’s priceless because you’re made in the image of God. It’s meant to be something beautiful, but if you give yourself to sinfulness; if you give your heart to greed, lust, anger, selfishness, sensuality and the like, you’re degrading something meant to be beautiful.

A ring given to a pig will end up in the mud. A life given to sin, will also end up in the mud. If you sell yourself cheap, your life will become cheap. You will become what you give yourself to.

If you give yourself to something low, you will be lowered. But if you give yourself to something higher, then your life will be lifted up.

So give yourself to what’s pure, true, and holy. Give yourself to Jesus and your life will be lifted up. Then your life will become the treasure it was meant to be and not a ring in a pig’s nose.

Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. Matthew 7:6

Are you giving yourself to a certain sin, an indulgence, or something not of God? Today, make the decision to not degrade yourself anymore. Live your life now as a precious treasure.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Show Them

Show Them…

We are commanded by Jesus to preach the Gospel and the kingdom of heaven. However, our faith is not primarily about getting into heaven. It’s about heaven getting into us.

Heaven is in us because God is in us. So it’s not enough to just talk about Him, we have to show Him. Paul was taken up into heaven. He said he couldn’t speak about all the things he saw, it was too much.

But he showed it by living a heavenly life. For the rest of his life he lived a life of faith and perseverance, a life worthy of heaven, of someone who had been there.

He kept rejoicing and persevering because of heaven. He showed them the reality of it. If you’re born again, you’re born from heaven and you need to do the same thing Paul did.

You need to show heaven life now. For heaven is too wonderful to only be spoken about. So don’t just talk about it, put your life where your mouth is. Show them.

So he replied to the messengers, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. Luke 7:22

Today, be an example and live a life of a true believer. Don’t just talk about God’s love and blessings – prove it! Show it!

Walk daily with God at your side!

Jesus And His Duplicates

27 Mar

Jesus And His Duplicates…

When I give a message or teaching, I make a record of it. The original document is called the master. The master is put into a duplicating machine filled with blank sheets. The blanks are imprinted with the information from the master and become copies of the master.

Jesus is called the Master. If you call Him your Master, it means you have to become His duplicate. I Peter 2:21 says Jesus left us an example to follow.

The Greek word for example is huppogrammos which means the writing that was placed under the paper for the scribes to trace. It was the ancient version of masters and duplicates.

So if you call Him Master, become His duplicate. Get plugged into Him, receive the imprint of His love, His wisdom, His righteousness, His purity, His heart, and His power.

Follow His example by walking in His Spirit. Let Him live His life through you, and you will become like Him, an accurate duplicate.

Your life will be His life and His life, your life. For if you call Him Master, you must become His duplicate.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

Today, before acting or reacting, think of what the Lord would do or say and then do likewise.

Walk daily with God at your side!

As You Go

26 Mar

As You Go…

Jesus called fishermen to be fishers of men. Fishermen must cast out a line or a net to catch fish. When the Lord gave the miracle of the fish, they had to first cast out their nets in order to pull them in.

Thus, we are to initiate the cast. You won’t see the fish (people) or the blessing if you don’t cast out. Spread the Word; give a tract, a visit, a cd, or ministry. Where ever you are, cast out a wide net.

You might be in a family gathering. When the time is right to talk to that person, you make your cast. If you’re in a store aisle, or at the cashier, you cast out that comment or question.

You’re a fisher of men and women and it all begins with a cast. God has miracles waiting for you in the deep waters, but His fishers can’t be timid.

We are to be bold. The fish are biting. Salvation is biting. Miracles are waiting to bite. Salvation and miracles are waiting to fill your net, but you are only going to see them when you cast out.

Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people. Mark 1:17

Today, cast out the Word of God, cast out His love, cast out the Gospel. Cast out your net – and bring in the fish!

Walk daily with God at your side!

The Children Of Leah

25 Mar

The Children Of Leah…

Leah, the unloved wife of Jacob, tried to earn his love by bearing him children. She said, “Now he’ll love me.” Some people think like Leah concerning God.

If we bear enough fruit, if we’re good enough, or do the right thing, then He will love us. Well, that was Leah’s mistake.

You never bear a child so that your husband will love you, you bear a child because your husband does loves you. The child is the fruit of the love.

So with God, you don’t bear God’s fruit so that He will love you. You bear God’s fruit because He does loves you. The fruit of your life; the good works, the love, the joy, the holiness, the self-control, that’s the fruit of God loving you.

We’re not fruitful to make God love us, we can’t. But if God loves us without any reason on our part, then we can bear the fruit of God miraculously. So stop trying to earn the love of God. You are loved. In that love go forth and bear His fruit, the fruit of His love in you.

If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:3

Today, get into the joy of how much God loves you without any cause or condition – then go in that love and bear the fruit you’ve been called to bear.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

Heirs Of Heaven

24 Mar

Heirs Of Heaven…

How do people inherit a fortune? First, they’re notified that they’re in a will. The one who’s in the will is the heir who receives the inheritance.

The Bible says you’re an heir. If you’re an heir, then there has to be a will. So the question is, are you in the will? Is your life really in God’s will? If you’re not in God’s will, then there’s no inheritance. But if you are, then you have an inheritance.

God has a living will. If you abide in His will, then you’ll be an heir of the blessing that He has for you. If you’re outside the will of God, you’re outside the inheritance and the blessing.

So abide in the will of God, because in the will of God you’ll find the blessings of God, the promises, your calling, and your inheritance. God has a blessing for your life, an inheritance, but you need to get your life in the will of God.

Then you will become an heir to receive the blessing, the promise and the inheritance that God has bequeathed to you. Get in the will.

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Roman’s 8:17

Is there a blessing you may not know of because something in your life is not in the will of God? Today, get it into the will of God and receive that blessing.

Walk daily with God at your side!

The Radical Call

23 Mar

The Radical Call…

Jesus said He had no place to lay His head. He didn’t really own anything. He had no place. He was born in Bethlehem, but that wasn’t His place.

He grew up in Nazareth and was called Yeshua Ha Netzeret or Jesus of Nazareth, but that really wasn’t His place. He ministered in Galilee, but that wasn’t His place.

Even Jerusalem wasn’t really His home. He was of heaven. We are His disciples. He is our master, and if our master has no place, then neither can we.

That means you’re not to be defined by your place or your circumstance. You do not belong to your culture or your past. You don’t even belong to your situation right now or your problems, so don’t get wrapped up in them.

We can’t be situation-based, we need to be Jesus-based. Follow Him no matter where He takes you. No matter where, just go where He goes. And you’ll go places in the Lord.

He’ll bring you to where you never imagined. For in Jesus, we have no place, but we have Jesus and that’s better than anything else.

Then Jesus said to His disciples,  “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” Matthew 16:24

Today, remember who you are and Whose you are. Rejoice in all that you have in heaven and stay free and light of the things of earth.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Outside The Box

20 Mar

Outside The Box…

Luke gives the account of Jesus basically being kicked out of His own synagogue. So what happened to that synagogue? They went on with their services, rituals, routines, and their social lives.

But Jesus moved on outside the synagogue; the healing, the good news, the release of the captors went on, freedom to the prisoners, sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, and all the miracles that His own synagogue couldn’t contain.

His own religion could not contain Him, and neither can ours. Even when the religion is in His name today as Christianity, He’s bigger than that.

If you want miracles, blessings, and His presence, then you have to step outside of your routine, your rut, and even the rituals in your life.

Because the walls of His religion couldn’t contain Him. He had to go outside for the miracles to keep going.

You need to step outside the narrow walls and walk with the King in the excitement of the new adventure of Him. For the blessings He has for you are so big, they cannot be contained inside.

When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. Proverbs 4:12

Stretch yourself and do something outside of the ordinary, outside of what you’ve ever been able to do before. By the power of God, do something extraordinary!

Walk daily with God at your side!

Faithful

19 Mar

Faithful…

By the hand of God, scribes have maintained the Scriptures so accurately for thousands of years. For generations, they have meticulously copied the Word, to the smallest jot and tittle.

If they make one mistake, the whole scroll is deemed unusable, and they have to start all over again. Before they write the name of God on the scroll, they will bathe themselves.

They hold great reverence for the Word and the name of God. As believers, we have the revelation of the New Covenant in Jesus.

Yet, we often treat the Word carelessly, bending it, softening it, or compromising it to fit what we want. We don’t really follow it, we take it lightly, or we take it for granted, and we don’t really treasure it. But the scribes of Israel, without Jesus, treated the Word so meticulously and reverently.

We need to treat the Word at least as reverently as the scribes of Israel. Cherish it, follow it, and take it at full strength as a sacred treasure in your life. The Word is a treasure, but it only gives life to those who treasure it.

Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law. Psalm 119:18

Today, take time to spend with the Word. Receive each word in reverence as the Word of God.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Open Hand

18 Mar

Open Hand…

Yadah is a verb in Hebrew meaning ‘to worship with extended hands.’ The root word is yad, which means an open hand.

An open or giving hand stands for an open heart. It is an open heart that worships God. A yad or open hand is a hand open not only to give but to receive.

The hand that closes, or doesn’t give, isn’t going to receive either. If you’re born again, you’re spiritually part of the Jewish family.

That means your life is to be characterized by thanks because the word Jew or Yehudah means one who gives thanks with an open hand, with praise.

So when you give thanks to God, you don’t have to be worried. You can’t be worried and give thanks at the same time. The more you are generous; the more you give, let go, bless, worship, and praise, the more you’re going to receive the blessings.

For the one who has an open hand to give the blessings, is going to be the one who has an open hand to receive them. Be the one who has learned the secret of the open yad, the open hand.

Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing. 1Timothy 2:8

Today, open the yad of your life and be generous, give and bless from your heart – and the yad of your life will receive from God’s hand.

Walk daily with God at your side!
