The Dome of The Mountain…

On the Temple Mount in Jerusalem sits a mosque. On its walls are written the words, “Allah has no son.” This central statement in Islam, is really an anti-statement talking about Jesus. It’s actually affirming what it denies because Psalm 2 says, “They rage against the Lord’s anointed,” His Son, “but I have set my King on my holy mountain.”

It’s on this mountain that Islam rages against God’s Son. Even Islam cannot help but focus on Yeshua. It’s the same with Rabbinic Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism and even Satanism. Those who are against Him still end up focusing on Him.

How much should we, His followers, focus everything on Him? Make Him the focus of your day-to-day, of your thoughts, your heart, your plans, your every word, your actions, everything you do, because that’s the way existence works. It’s all focused on Him anyway.

The more you focus on Him, the more blessed your life will be. He’s the Lamb; He’s the center of the throne. He’s the focus of everything. Make Him your focus and from that will come all blessings.

For you, Lord, are the Most High over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods. Psalm 97:9

Today make a conscious effort to exalt Jesus in everything you do, and everywhere you go; be conscious of His presence.

Amening The Wrong Thing

Amending The Wrong Thing…

We think of Amen as a religious word, but it’s much more than that. Amen comes from the Hebrew word ’emet,’ which means true. So when you say amen, you’re saying it’s true, it’s solid, it’s reality.

Where you place your amen can change your life. The problem with most of us isn’t that we’re not saying amen in a worship service, but that we’re saying amen everywhere else. We’re giving our amen to the world and our problem, as if it’s true; it’s not.

Whenever you accept bad news as if it’s the final truth, you are giving your amen. When you accept your sin, you’re giving your amen. Do you want to be changed? Stop giving away your amen to the world.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Matthew 6:13

Stop saying amen to your problems, to the enemy or to your old self. You don’t have to accept it. Stop saying amen to the way things appear. Say amen in faith to God’s power, His will, His Word, His love and His miracles. Your amen is powerful. Start using it wisely. Don’t say amen to the world. Give your amen to God. Amen? Amen.

Today meditate on the Truth of God’s word, then speak it over your life and give it the Amen of your heart, mind, soul, and strength.

You’ve Heard – But I Say

You’ve Heard – But I Say…

Jesus said more than once these words: “You have heard that it was said, but I say to you.” He now says the same words to you. And what it means is this: everything you’ve heard before, the old voices, the old temptations, the old life is not to you anymore, but what Jesus says is to you.

When you’re being tempted, don’t take it as being to you anymore. If the enemy is talking, don’t take it personally, it’s not to you. But take the things Jesus says to you personally. When you read the Bible, it’s for you personally.

If God gives a command, take it to you, personally. God so loved you, He gave His only Son. All the other voices, the temptations, the condemnation, the intimidation, it’s not to you anymore.

Take the Word of God, the Word of Jesus as completely personal, totally relevant to you here and now. It will make all the difference in the world to your life.

Because Jesus is talking to you, even right now through this teaching; it’s to you personally, so listen to His voice. It’s the only thing that matters in the end, because He just happens to be talking to you.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17

Identify the voices that try to shackle you to your past. These chains have already been broken by the blood of Jesus. Listen to the only one true voice, that of Jesus.

Not One Yud

Not One Yud…

Jesus said, not one jot, or yud (the smallest Hebrew letter) would be removed from the Torah (the first five books of the Bible). Interesting, because in the Torah, there’s a time when a yud is added.

There was a man named Hoshea, and Moses added the smallest letter, one yud in front of his name and transformed it into Yehoshua, in English, Joshua, in later Hebrew, Yeshua, or in Greek/English, Yesus/Jesus. Moses, divinely inspired, came up with the name Yeshua, by adding that little yud which says something.

The power of Yeshua is often unleashed with the smallest of actions, the simple yud, a little stroke. The very first stroke of repentance, the very first step of change, the very first turning to God, the very first turning away from sin. God will honor it, and more than bless you.

God doesn’t require you to be perfect overnight, but to start changing with the very first small step. So do it. Take the step you’ve never taken. The slightest one will do it, because great journeys begin with the smallest step and great salvation, Yeshua, begins with a yud.

Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:8

Is there something the Lord has been convicting you of that you haven’t yet done. Today take the first step, even a small step to begin doing it.

The Record of Sinlessness

The Record Of Sinlessness…

The Jewish culture is the most sin-conscious culture in the world. Yet the disciples, being Jewish, spent 3-1/2 years with Jesus, seeing Him every day, and they called Him sinless.

There is not even one record or citation of a single sin. What life could that be that has no sin? Only one, the life of God in this world. Imagine spending so much time with someone and never seeing even one fault?

Well you are spending time with the same One. Sometimes we think we find fault with Him. God, why don’t you let this happen? Why didn’t you do this? Well, He was without sin then, and He’s without sin now.

He was without fault and blame then, and He’s without fault and blame now. Stop questioning Him. He knows what you need. He knows what you want. He knows what is best and He loves you. He is sinless and we’re not.

That should leave any wise person to do less talking and more listening. Listen to Him, let Him lead because you are walking with someone unlike anyone else, Jesus, the perfect, sinless, blameless, guiltless One.

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Spend time with Jesus today, and ask Him to speak to your heart, then surrender to His will.

The Six Billion Year Mistake

The Six Billion Year Mistake…

A major newspaper once had an article where scientists revised their calculations of the universe by six billion years. A mistake of six billion years? Shouldn’t they have received a failing grade? No. People continued trusting them.

Why should we trust in those who start out by being billions of years wrong? How many have failed a history exam for being off by just 100 years? What does it say? Some trust in chariots, some in horses, but we will trust in the Lord. Some trust in scientists, but we will trust in the Lord.

Science has a place, but it can’t answer the ultimate question like, why do we exist? So don’t put all your trust in men, put your trust in God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of man.

Go by His Word that remains forever. Trust in, live by and act on His Word. There’s much you can’t depend on in this world. There’s only One you can always depend on. He’ll never be six billion years wrong. He will always be eternally right, perfect, up-to-date and right on time.

Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Proverbs 30:5

Is there something in your life that conflicts with God’s word? Today it is time to turn it over to the Father and trust that His ways are perfect.

The Little Foxes

The Little Foxes…

As a child watching the Superman show, I always wondered why Superman would stand up to bullets, but he would duck when something was thrown at him. There’s a truth here, and in the Song of Solomon. It says, “”Catch the little foxes that spoil our garden.””

It’s often the little things that mess us up the most. On the big things, we’ll give up our lives, but cut us off on the highway and we lose it. We’ll give great gifts to God, but ignore us and we get angry.

I knew someone who was leaving for Israel planning to preach a great message on the peace of God. Then he misplaced his Bible and peace went out the window. He went crazy. Watch out for the little things the enemy throws at you to catch you off guard.

Often that is how we slip up because we’re not prepared. If Superman laughed at bullets, but panicked over someone throwing a gun, then you have to watch out for things such as these. It’s the little foxes that spoil the garden. God has called you to be wiser and stronger than Superman.

The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple. Psalm 19:7

Don’t let the enemy catch you off guard today. Pray for the peace of God to guard your heart and mind.

The Reyach and The Ruach

The Reyach and The Ruach…

In the Song of Solomon, it’s written, “”The vines with tender grapes put forth their reyach”” (their fragrance). The word reyach is sometimes translated as “”sweet perfume.”” Reyach comes from “”Ruach”” – “”wind, breath or Spirit””.

You see, the Ruach is the Spirit, and from the Spirit comes sweet fragrance. It’s written that we’re to manifest the sweet fragrance of the Holy Spirit – Ruach Ha Kodesh. There are perfumes in this world that cost a fortune, but better than all of them, is the Reyach of the Ruach, the perfume of the Spirit.

When someone lives in the Spirit, there is a sweet fragrance about them. When they enter, there is a sweetness. When they leave, something lingers. There is an aroma of love, joy, peace and righteousness. Something beautiful about them fills up their life in every situation.

Don’t get into perfumes to make yourself sweet, get into living in the Spirit. Live, love, walk and breathe in the Spirit and your life will become sweeter and sweeter, because the Reyach comes from the Ruach. The sweet fragrance of God comes from the Spirit of God.

For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. 2 Corinthians 2:15

Ask the Lord to fill you with the sweet fragrance of His Holy Spirit. Wherever you go today, walk in it, praise in it and love in it.

The Ishmael Syndrome

The Ishmael Syndrome…

Israel was reborn as a nation on May 14, 1948. From that day until now, the issue of Israel has been a continual source of controversy. What is the Arab-Israeli Conflict? The answer is found in Genesis. Abraham had two sons, Isaac and Ishmael. Isaac, the son of promise, received the birthright, but Ishmael lost his inheritance.

It’s about the birthright. The children of Isaac returned to their inheritance. The children of Ishmael claimed the land that was given to Isaac. Harboring the bitterness and anger of Ishmael has brought great harm to their lives.

When you carry resentment, harbor unforgiveness, feed self-pity, and bitterness, you hurt yourself more than anyone else and bring a curse on all that you do. Jesus said “”Forgive and you shall be forgiven.”” Is there unforgiviness, anger or bitterness in your life? Have you been wronged, mistreated, overlooked?

Forget it. God hasn’t treated you wrong or overlooked you. God has treated you better than you ever deserved. Forgive, let go, and move on with your life. Harbor no bitterness, and your life will be free from the curse of Ishmael and covered with the blessing of Isaac.

Then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your people Israel and bring them back to the land you gave to their ancestors. 1 Kings 8:34

Today, ask God to expose any root of bitterness in your heart. Uproot it and replace it with His forgiveness.

The Palistina Strategy

The Palistina Strategy…

On May 14, 1948, what had been known as “Palestine” became the nation of Israel. But where did Palestine come from? The Romans banned Jews from Israel and renamed Israel “Palestina,” based on the ancient enemies of the Jews, the Philistines, in order to make the world and the Jews forget that they had an inheritance in that land.

But God would not forget. He brought them back. So too, the enemy uses the same strategy, “The Palestina strategy,” to make you forget God’s call, inheritance and promises on your life. To make you disbelieve God’s power to make you victorious, joyous, Jesus-like.

The enemy wants you to live a substitute, second rate, messed up life. He wants circumstances and events in your life to make you forget God’s promises. “The Palestine Strategy.” The world may not believe, you may not believe, but God does not forget His promises, calling and inheritance for you.

So rise up! Remember His promise and how great His calling is. Believe it, for God has called you as an heir to the Promised Land and everything other than that, is only Palestine.

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; Lamentations 3:22-25

Is there a promise from God that the enemy is trying to make you forget? Revive it today and don’t let go of it. Remember His faithfulness.
