Yerushalyim: The Mystery…

June 7, 1967, a date in which ancient prophecy was fulfilled. It was the year when the Beatles came out with the album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.” The Vietnam War was in full swing and public opinion turning increasingly against it.

It was into that world of flower power and anti-war protests that a prophecy spoken thousands of years before it was fulfilled.

The Jewish people, in the Six Day War, returned to the city of Jerusalem. It was the missing puzzle piece of every latter day prophecy which required the Jewish people to be in that city.

While the world was going along its course with all its distractions, God fulfilled His ancient prophecy. What does it show you? God is real and His word is good, and if God could work through every event of 1967 to fulfill His ancient word, how much more is He working all things in your life together for good and for His good purpose.

Rejoice! For the Lord says, “I know the plans I have for you. Plans for shalom and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

Watch what God is doing today in your life. Your Savior has appointed your steps ahead of you. Fulfill His will and step into His plans.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

Ed
