Through The Roof

Through The Roof…

They came with their paralyzed friend, carrying him in their arms. They heard that Yeshua of Nazareth had the power to heal the sick. The house was jammed with people. There was no way to get in.

They got up on the roof, opened it up, and lowered their friend into the room. Imagine – you’re in the middle of a service, and some people start breaking into the roof and lowering some guy down into the middle of the sanctuary.

The Lord honored it. He healed the man. If it’s God’s will, closed doors don’t matter. If God closes a door, He opens a window. If He doesn’t open the window, He wants you to go through the roof.

Maybe God has been calling you to something and you’ve run into closed doors. The Lord doesn’t want you to give up. The closed door isn’t there to discourage you, but to make you stronger.

It may not be what you first thought, but it’s better. If it’s God’s will, and the door is closed, look for the window. If the window’s closed, start climbing. You’re going through the roof!

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

The Roof, The Cot, & The Miracle Dealing with problems? Don’t dwell on the closed door or the obstacle of the wall – seek for God’s “out of the box” answer – find the open roof!

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,
