The Flowing Life…
Are you living a life that flows with joy, peace, and purpose, or are you feeling driven, stressed, and compelled by circumstances? Isaiah 55:12 promises that when you’re led by God’s Spirit, you’ll go out with joy and be led forth with peace.
The Hebrew word “yabal” means to flow like a river, and it’s used to describe the leading of God’s Spirit. When you’re living in harmony with God’s Spirit, your life will flow with love, faith, mercy, kindness, joy, and peace.
On the other hand, a life driven by fear, anger, jealousy, and depression is stagnant and lacking in flow. It’s only when you’re led by God that you’ll experience the smooth, effortless flow of His Spirit.
See, I am doing something new! Now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? In the wilderness I make a way, in the wasteland, rivers. Isaiah 43:19
Today, choose to follow the leading of the Lord. Allow His peace to guide you, and flow forth in His Spirit.
Dear Heavenly Father, Help me to surrender to Your leading and allow Your Spirit to flow through me. I want to experience the joy, peace, and purpose that comes from being led by You. Forgive me for trying to control my life and circumstances. I trust that Your ways are higher than mine, and I surrender to Your leading. Fill me with Your Spirit, and let my life flow with love, kindness, mercy, and joy. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.
Walk daily with God at your side!
Love always,
Ed 🙏🏼
