Dismantle The Myth

Dismantle The Myth…

Good morning. Today, let’s dismantle the myth that trust is passive—and discover how it becomes our fiercest weapon in life’s storms.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5

We say we trust God—until life slips from our grip. The promotion that falls through. The scan shows shadows. The prayer that echoes unanswered. Suddenly, “trust” feels less like faith and more like freefall.

Proverbs 3:5 doesn’t minimize the chaos. It meets us there. That phrase “with all your heart”? It’s not a demand for perfection—it’s permission to stop pretending. To admit, “I’m out of answers, God. I need Yours.”

Trust isn’t passive resignation. It’s warring against fear with a fiercer truth: God’s wisdom sees what your anxiety can’t. Every unanswered prayer? He’s protecting you from what you’d regret. Every closed door? He’s guarding you until the right one opens.

Today, name the thing you’ve been trying to control. Then release it—not because you’re giving up, but because you’re finally letting God do what only He can. The path ahead may still look unclear, but the One who holds it? He’s never lost His way.

Father, I come to You today with all that I am—my hopes, my fears, my doubts, and my dreams. I admit how often I try to carry the weight of life on my own, leaning on my understanding instead of resting in Yours. But today, I choose to trust You—not just with the easy parts, but with everything. When the path ahead feels uncertain, remind me that You are already there, holding my hand and guiding my steps. Thank You for being my safe place, my steady anchor, and my constant source of peace. I trust You, Lord, with all that I am. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Heavenly Father does not ask for golden vessels. He does not ask for silver vessels. God asks for yielded vessels.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

Ed 🙏🏼
