A Measure of Time…
“As we grow older, time has a way of moving faster.” These words resonate deeply within us. It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating a new year, and now another one is on the horizon. Our days are getting shorter, and before we know it, our time on this earth will come to an end.
But in the midst of this fleeting nature of life, we find a glimmer of hope. The Bible reminds us that our salvation is not bound by the constraints of time. In 2 Corinthians 6:2, we read, “For he says, ‘In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.’ I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.”
As our days get shorter, let us not lose sight of what truly matters. Let us focus on living each day with intention and purpose, seeking to honor God in all we do. For in the end, it is not the length of our days that matters, but the depth of our relationship with our Savior.
Dear Heavenly Father, help us to make the most of the time you have given us. May we live each day with intention and purpose, seeking to honor you in all we do. Thank you for the gift of salvation, which transcends the boundaries of time. May we rest in the assurance of your love and presence, now and forevermore. Amen.
Life is not measured by time. It is measured by moments, which means thatย life is made up of moments and that those moments are what define our lives.ย
Walk daily with God at your side!
Love always,
