Truly Never Alone

Truely Never Alone…

Today, let’s explore what it means to trust God in life’s deepest waters and hottest fires as we dig into Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Isaiah 43:2

“When you pass through the waters…” Not if, but when. In this beautiful promise, God acknowledges that we will face deep waters in this life—seasons that threaten to overwhelm us, moments when we can barely keep our heads above the waves. Yet within this honest admission comes an even greater truth: we never face these waters alone.

Perhaps you’re treading water right now—struggling with anxiety that floods your mind, carrying a burden that feels too heavy to bear, or facing a storm that seems to have no end. God’s promise isn’t that the waters won’t be deep or that the fires won’t be hot. His promise is far more precious: His presence will be your anchor. His strength, your lifeline.

You see, these waters that feel like they might drown you? They’re actually the depths where you’ll discover just how near He is. Those fires that seem too intense? They’re becoming your testimony of His faithfulness.

Today, whatever waters you’re facing, remember: the One who calmed the sea with a whisper walks beside you. And His grip on you is stronger than any current that tries to pull you under.

Heavenly Father, thank you for being right here with me through every storm. Some days, the waters feel so deep, yet what peace comes from, knowing You never leave my side. Thank You for being the kind of Father who steps into every wave beside me, making Your presence my anchor. When life feels overwhelming, help me rest in Your strength. Turn these deep waters into beautiful stories of Your faithfulness. These struggles into glimpses of Your amazing grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sometimes, God calms the storm, and sometimes He lets the storm rage and calms His child.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

Ed 🙏🏼
