Power Above All

Power Above All…

In Ephesians 1:21, Paul teaches that the power of God in Jesus’s resurrection is far above all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name that can be named. There are many powers and dominions in this world, and many of them evil.

There are powers and dominions of sin, evil, sickness, depression, fear, gloom, addiction, impurity, anger, striving, selfishness, bitterness, and so on. If you are born again, then the power of God in Jesus’s resurrection is above every one of those things you battle.

His power is higher and greater than your problem. But God’s power isn’t just above that thing you’re struggling with – it’s far above, far greater, far stronger, and far more powerful. That’s why Paul prayed that the eyes of your heart would be open so you’d see this.

Open the eyes of your heart through faith and believe God’s Word. Believe the resurrection! Believe the strength and greatness of the power of God to give you complete victory over that problem. You can live far above all power and dominion in this age and in the age to come!

And for your sake, I am glad I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him.  John 11:25

Today, open the eyes of your heart through faith and believe God’s resurrection power far above anything you struggle with. Then act on it.
