The Bridal Weakness…
Paul asked God to take away his weakness. God replied, “My grace is sufficient for you. For my strength is perfected in weakness.” The strength of God is made perfect in our weakness.
Think about that. How could God need anything of ours to perfect His strength? In one sense, He doesn’t. But He’s chosen to, in a sense, need us so that His strength would become perfect within us – and not just within us, but through us, through our weakness.
We tend to despise our weaknesses, but we must remember that we are His bride. We’re not meant to be complete without Him. Don’t think your weakness separates you from God. God would tell you, ‘Your weakness was made for My strength, and My strength is perfected in your weakness.’
So don’t despise your weakness. Your weakness is there to remind you that you were never made to be alone. Therefore, bring your weaknesses to Him because your weaknesses need His strength, and His strength longs for your weaknesses, that through them it may become perfect.
Strengthen the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you.Β Isaiah 35:3-4
Today, bring your weaknesses to Him and let His strength be made perfect in you.
Walk daily with God at your side!
Love always,
