The Expert Witness – You

4 Jul

The Expert Witness – You…

How do you witness? It’s much simpler than you think. Witnessing comes down to simply bearing witness. It doesn’t mean you have to be impressive or eloquent, you just bear witness.

Imagine you’re on a jury and a guy comes in as a witness in a case and he looks slick, polished, well-rehearsed, every line’s the right line, every word and mannerism is professional.

Would you find him very trustworthy? Probably not. You don’t believe a witness who’s skilled, you believe a witness who’s sincere and who’s real.

A witness isn’t called to be skilled, smooth, or professional; a witness is called simply to bear witness to what he or she knows. That’s it. So how do you witness?

You just bear witness to what you know, not to what you don’t know. Just be real, be sincere, and just share what you know. Do you know the Jesus? Share Him! You know He came into your life, you know He’s great, and you know your life has changed.

Share it! That’s all there is to it. Just share what you know, and you’ll end up being an expert witness.

A truthful witness saves lives, but one who breathes out lies is deceitful.Β  Proverbs 14:25

Today, commit to sharing whatever you know about Jesus and be an expert witness.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

Look Up

Look Up…

Good morning!

Today, let’s lift our eyes to the One who never sleeps.

I lift up my eyes to the mountainsβ€” where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:1-2

Life often presents us with mountains that seem insurmountable. In those moments, it’s natural to look around frantically for help. But the psalmist offers us a different perspective – look up instead.

These verses aren’t just poetic; they’re a powerful reminder of where our true help lies. When we lift our eyes to God, we’re acknowledging His immense power and love. He’s not just any helper; He’s the Creator of everything we see and beyond.

Consider this: the same God who formed mountains and stars cares deeply about your struggles. Whether you’re facing health issues, relationship troubles, or feeling lost, your help comes from the Lord. He’s not distant or uninterested. He’s right there, ready to assist, guide, and comfort.

Today, whatever challenge you’re facing, remember to look up first. Your help isn’t just coming; it’s already here, in the form of a loving Father who moves heaven and earth for you.

Dear Lord, I know I’m not alone in feeling overwhelmed by the mountains in my life. Sometimes it feels like they’re towering over me, threatening to crush me. But today, I choose to look up, to remember that you’re the one who holds the whole world in Your hands. You are bigger than my problems, stronger than my fears, and more loving than I can ever imagine. Thank you for being my refuge, my fortress, my ever-present help. Please fill me with your peace and give me the courage to face whatever comes my way, knowing that my help comes from You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The reason why many fail in battle is because they wait until the hour of battle. The reason why others succeed is because they have gained their victory on their knees long before the battle came. Anticipate your battles; fight them on your knees before temptation comes, and you will always have victory.

Walk daily with God at your side!

The Power Of The Lamb

3 Jul

The Power Of The Lamb…

Here in the United States, we begin the new year in January. But the biblical new year wasn’t in January, nor was it in September as many think. It came with the Hebrew month of Nisan in the spring.

Nisan was the month of the Passover redemption from Egypt, slavery, bondage, and of the rebirth of the nation to God – all through the blood of the Lamb. Nisan is also the month of Jesus’s redemption.

It’s the month He gave His life. It’s the month of His death and resurrection; when the Lamb of God died to make all things new. That’s the real new beginning. So the power of new years and new beginnings does not come from a calendar, it comes from the Lamb.

So if you want a new beginning, you’ll only find it in the Lamb. Come to the cleansing mercy of the Lamb. Come back to your first love and be made new. For there, all things are made new.

The true renewal of God for new days, walks, lives, hearts, and even New Years only comes by the power of the Lamb.

And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! John 1:36

Today, receive the power of complete cleansing and newness in the Lamb of God and live as if all things were new.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

Let’s Be Slow To Judge

2 Jul

Let’s Be Slow To Judge…

Good morning,

Today, let’s reflect on the power of judgment and the beauty of grace.

For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Matthew 7:2

Have you ever caught yourself quickly forming opinions about someone else’s actions or decisions? It’s a common pitfall, especially when we overlook the grace we’ve received ourselves. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 7:2 that the same standards we use to judge others will be applied to us. This powerful truth calls us to reflect on how we treat those around us.

Imagine a world where we measure others with the same grace, understanding, and kindness we hope to receive. Recall a moment when someone extended grace to you, even when you didn’t deserve it. How did that make you feel? We have the incredible opportunity to be that source of grace for others.

This teaching echoes the essence of the Golden Rule: treat others as you would like to be treated. By choosing compassion over criticism and understanding over judgment, we reflect the heart of Jesus. It’s a challenging but transformative way to live, bringing light and love into our interactions.

Today, let’s make a conscious effort to live by this principle. Let our actions be filled with love, our words with kindness, and our hearts open to forgiveness. Remember, the grace you give is the grace you will receive.

Dear God, Forgive me for the times I’ve been quick to judge, forgetting the grace you’ve so freely given me. Help me to see others as you see them – not through the lens of my own flawed perspective but through the lens of your boundless love and compassion. Fill my heart with your grace, that I may extend it generously to those around me. May my words be kind, my actions loving, and my heart always open to forgiveness. Thank you for showing me what true love looks like. Help me to follow your example, treating others as I long to be treated. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

The On-time Lateness Of God

2 Jul

The On-time Lateness Of God..

I’ve often had a problem being late. To compensate, I would set my clocks ahead. But then I would compensate by doing math calculations to arrive at the actual real time. God has the same problem. He said, “I’m coming soon”, but he said that 2000 years ago.

You might argue that for God, a day is like a thousand years. That’s true, but still, two-thousand years doesn’t exactly fit our definition of soon. To our earthly eyes, God seems to be late. But if God’s weakness is stronger than our strength, then His lateness is more on time than our best timeliness.

So I’ve got good news. Being late can be divine. Well, maybe not in most cases, but at least in this sense. God isn’t in a rush, driven, or desperate. He moves in shalom. You need to develop the same attribute. God doesn’t rush through life. He is life.

You can’t live life as you were meant to live it if you’re too busy rushing around. Stop rushing and start learning to live in God’s presence. Learn to be divinely late, and you’ll find yourself living right on time.

Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.Β  James 3:18

Stop rushing today and start learning to live in God’s presence.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

His Promise – Our Role

1 Jul

His Primise – Our Role…

Good morning,

Today, let’s explore the promise of God’s glory filling our world and our role in it.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
Habakkuk 2:14

Ever feel stuck on that hamster wheel of life, chasing after empty promises and fleeting dreams? Habakkuk, a man of God, saw this too. He watched people exhaust themselves for things that would ultimately burn up or fade away.

But God whispers a different story, a promise as vast and breathtaking as the ocean itself: one day, His glory will saturate the earth. Every corner, every heart, every life will know the depth of His splendor.

This isn’t just a far-off dream, friend. It’s an invitation to live differently right now. To step off the treadmill and into the abundant life Jesus offers. We’re not mere spectators in this unfolding story; we’re active participants.

Imagine it: every nation, every tribe, every tongue united in a symphony of praise to the King of Kings. That’s the future we’re building, one act of kindness, one word of truth, one moment of grace at a time.

So let’s ditch the shallow pursuits and dive headfirst into the depths of God’s love. Let’s live lives that echo with eternity, lives that reflect His glory in every facet. In the end, it’s not about what we gain in this world, but what we give for His Kingdom.

Dear Lord, Forgive me when I get caught up in the rat race, chasing after shiny things that rust and break. It’s so easy to lose sight of what truly matters in this world of distractions. But today, your promise in Habakkuk fills me with hope. I see that breathtaking vision of your glory flooding the earth, and I want to be a part of it. Help me to step off the treadmill of emptiness and onto the path you’ve set before me. I want to be a wave in your ocean of glory, Lord, carrying your light and love to everyone I meet. Help me to live a life that truly matters, a life that echoes with eternity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Our high and privileged calling is to do the will of God in the power of God for the glory of God.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,
