The Mystery Of The Divine Loves…
Song of Solomon says, “How beautiful is your love my sister, my bride.” However the original Hebrew says something quite different. It’s one of the strange and unique mysteries of the Hebrew language.
In the original language it reads: “Mah Ya foo Do dah yich A kho tee Ka lah,” “How beautiful are your LOVES ….. The Song of Solomon is an allegory about God and us. He’s the Bridegroom. We’re the Bride.
The Lord is saying to us, “How beautiful are your LOVES…” It’s not enough to love God with one love. We must love Him with many loves. It’s not enough to love God once. We must love Him every day with a new love. If we love God with an old love, our relationship will become old and dead.
You can’t love God with the love you once had when you first came to God. God wants you to love Him with a love that is different. Your love is not better than wine, but your LOVES are.
Love God today with a new love. Open your heart today with a new surrendering – because it’s this about which God says, “How beautiful.”
How beautiful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much better is your love than wine, and the fragrance of your oils than any spice! Song of Solomon 4:10
Take time in prayer today to let God know how much you love Him – and in a new way, a new expression, a new song.
Walk daily with God at your side!
Love always,
Ed
