The Phantom Moth

The Phantom Moth…

In Great Britain, a night train was carrying Queen Victoria. Suddenly, the engineer saw a phantom figure… in a black cloak standing in the middle of the tracks, waving its arms back and forth.

The engineer jammed the brakes, stared into the fog, and saw the bridge ahead had been swept away. When they reached London, the engineer discovered a dead moth at the bottom of the engine’s head lamp. He pressed the moth against the glass of the lamp, turned on the light and saw the black-robed figure.

Seconds before the train was due to pass over the missing bridge; the moth had flown into the lamp. The image was of a black-robed man waving his arms to stop. The queen was saved by a moth.

As far as the moth was concerned, it was just flying to a light. It is written, ‘God works all things together for good, for those who love Him…’

So, if you love Him, be at peace, and rejoice that He’s working everything together for good, in your life, whether it be a train… or a moth!

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Today look for the good and the good purposes of God in all things in your life.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

Ed
