The Incense And Glory

The Incense And Glory…

You want to see God’s face, the miracles, presence, and glory of God. The problem is you’re not seeing it. Three thousand years ago, the Temple of God was built by Solomon.

On the day of its dedication the priests offered up thousands of sacrifices. Then the glory of God descended on the Temple. It was so thick and heavy that the priests couldn’t minister anymore.

Notice the connection. First the offerings and then the glory fell. Not just in the Old Testament, but in the New. Calvary is the Sacrifice, the death of Jesus.

After the death of Jesus came the resurrection and the glory of God. You can’t have God’s presence and glory without sacrifice. Salvation is God’s gift, freely given as a sacrifice.

His people must also be people of sacrifice. If you want the glory, then lift up your future, plans, possessions, and your life to the Lord. Lay it on the altar and give it to Him.

Live your life for the Lord and it will be a glorious one. For where there is sacrifice, the glory is sure to follow.

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. Hebrews 13:15

As you pray today, surrender to God at least one sacrifice, one idol, one sin, one thing in your life, and leave it at His feet. Then walk in the glory of His Spirit.

Walk daily with God at your side!

Love always,

Ed
